Becoming a certified locator requires extensive practical training and testing to ensure the person has the most up-to-date knowledge, safety regulations, and skillset required for service locating. Certified locators also have special access to otherwise restricted utility networks.
DBYD is a nationwide not-for-profit organisation that provides the most recent asset plans for underground services and any other key information about your worksite available to them. We make a DBYD query to gain the necessary information and use it as a starting point for locating underground assets.
